Texas Trails Council

Who: Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos. Everyone within the Texas Trails Council may race in this event, regardless of results on the unit or district level.

COST: Entry fee is $6.00 per car, payable at registration on event date.

Location: Abilene, Texas Mall of Abilene Buffalo Gap Road

Registration: Open at 8:30AM, and closes at 10:00AM. Racing begins immediately after judging is completed (10:15). Races for Grand Champion begin as soon as all Cub Scout division races have finished. You only need to arrive at the location and register your entry on the date of the event. Patches will be awarded to the first 300 scouts at the time their car is registered.

Prizes: Ribbons will be presented in each division for the 3 fastest cars. The first place car from each Cub Scout division will compete for the Grand Championship. Trophy will be awarded to the car winning the final race. Cars will also be judged in the following categories: Most Unusual, Best Paint Job, and Best Design. You must be registered not later than 10:00AM to be eligible for these categories.
