TEXAS TRAILS PINEWOOD DERBY FINALS

 Each of the four districts in the Texas Trails Council conducted their individual Pinewood Derby races on February 23^rd. The outcome of the District level races qualified a potential of 16 cars to be eligible for the Council Championship race held at Camp Tonkawa during the Trailblazer Day Events on May 3^rd.

Of the 16 Cub Scouts qualified from the various Districts, 11 participated in what turned out to be a double elimination race to determine the fastest Texas Trails Council Pinewood Derby Race Car. 

Congratulations go to the fastest final four;

Tyler Cannon
Overall Champion 1^st Place – Pack 271 Abilene Bonham Elementary, Webelos, White Buffalo District

Ethan Baird
Championship 2^nd Place – Pack 217 Abilene Taylor Elementary Tiger, Double Mountain District

Zach Robbins
Championship 3^rd Place – Pack 260 Wylie Beltway Baptist, Webelos, White Buffalo District

Jarred Woods
Championship 4^th place – Pack 143 Hamlin Lions Club, Tiger, Double Mountain District
