The Final Steps to becoming an Eagle Scout

Becoming an Eagle Scout can be frustrating. You may not know what to do, where to start, or what is actually required so you put it off. Before you know it, you will be 18 and will never become that Eagle Scout you dreamed of when you were a Tiger Cub.

Presented here are links to help you attain your goal. Many of the links are directly to the BSA publications themselves, and others are to documents and plans created by others who were on the same road you are now on.

Eagle projects can take from two to six months to complete and should be started as soon as you pin on your Life Rank. You can work on the project and your remaining Merit Badges at the same time, as well as remaining in a leadership position in your Troop. You do not have to do one at a time.

An important note to remember: You must have ALL Eagle requirements completed and the Eagle Scout Application turned in to the Scout Service Center BEFORE your 18th birthday. This includes your project and the final write-up! NO EXCEPTIONS!
