Eagle Scouts Eagle Scout is the highest rank that can be earned by a Scout. To earn Eagle Scout, a Scout must practice high character, moral, high levels of leadership, high discipline, planning. One of the requirements to earn Eagle Scout is to complete a service project for the community. The service project must not directly benefit a BSA troop or other BSA unit. The service project must benefit a non-profit organization. Service projects have included: Some Scouts go on to earn Eagle Palms. One Eagle Palm can be awarded for each 6 months of continued service and leadership after earning Eagle Scout plus earning 5 merit badges beyond the 21 required for the rank of Eagle. We are proud of all of our Eagle Scouts! List of Council Eagle Scouts Eagle Scout Steps AggieEagles: This is a recruiting program for the Corps of Cadets at Texas A & M University. Traditionally , the Corps has 300+ members who hold the BSA Eagle or GSA Gold Award. The program recognizes that the same traits that motivate a youngster to join scouts may also encourage them, as collegians, to join the Corps of Cadets. The porgram will focus on seniors in high school who are Eagle Scouts or Gold Award holders. If any seniors are still actively involved in scouting, they will be considered to be on track for these honors and may attend the program.
