KERRY FRAZIER, P.A.

He started working in Scouting in 1977 when he became a Cub Scout Leader in Pack 206. He later became an Assistant Webelos Leader. When his son became a Boy Scout in Troop 260, Kerry joined too as an Assistant Scoutmaster and still holds that position. He did not limit his contribution of time and talent on one troop but has been active at the District and Council level for a number of years, especially in the area of leadership training for both boys and adults. He has served on numerous Timber Tag staffs and has filled most leadership positions including Senior Patrol Leader and Scoutmaster. He has been on the staff of two Eagle Mountain Courses and served on the medical sub camp staff at the 1985 National Jamboree. He is a graduate of Timber Tag 52 and Walking Wood Badge 248.

From his youth Kerry has reached for excellence. In his senior year at Abilene High School he was voted the outstanding lineman of the football team. He attended Hardin Simmons University and graduated from Baylor College of Medicine with a B.A. Degree. In 1977 he joined Dr. B. J. Estes as a Physician Assistant where he is employed at the present time. He also serves the community by officiating at the local high school football games and has served as a CPR instructor for the American Heart Association. He is a frequent lecturer on camping and hiking for community organizations.

He and his wife, Linda, have a son, Scott, who is an Eagle Scout and a younger daughter.

It is with great pleasure that the Chisholm Trail Council presents the Silver Beaver Award to Kerry Frazier.
