BILLY R. DAVIS
Few men are more deserving of the Silver Beaver Award as is this great Scouter. He now holds the title of Institutional Representative of a Scout Troop, but this is only a small part that his dedication has played in Scouting.
He is always the man behind the scene doing the hard jobs connected with Council and District Activities. His inspiration as a member of the Council Training Teams has meant much to hundreds of men he has been associated with.
He is a member of Baker Heights Church of Christ where he has served as a Sunday School teacher. Each year he is in charge of the Cherokee Children’s Home Food Drive.
When someone talks about a Scouters Scouter, Bill Davis is one that they talk about.
It is with great pleasure that the National Council, B. S. A. through the Chisholm Trail Council, presents to Billy R. Davis the Silver Beaver Award.
