JAMES B. JORDAN, JR.

This man has been active in Scouting for over 25 years. He has been a Scoutmaster and has served on the Council Executive Board for many years.

He is a graduate of McMurry College and is a veteran of World War II. He has been in the Kiwanis Club of Abilene for twenty-five years, and is presently serving as Club President. He is an outstanding churchman, having left well established churches to become a Charter Member and Board Member of two new Methodist Churches. He is presently a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church.

In 1951 he graduated from the F.B.I. Academy and served his country well. He is now an employee of the West Texas Utilities Company. He married Mollie Frank Touchstone in 1942 and they have two children, Jennifer and Geryl.

It is with pleasure that the Chisholm Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America, presents the Silver Beaver Award to James B. Jordan, Jr.
