For twenty-two years this man has been active in Scouting.

He has served as a Cub Leader, Scout Leader, and leader of men. He is currently Scoutmaster of a very active troop, but he also finds time to serve as Institutional Representative of the Kiwanis Club sponsored Troop and Ship.

He has been active for several years in the Councils Training program. As a Woodbadge Scouter he is an outstanding trainer of man to lead boys.

He has received the Scouters Award, Scoutmasters Key, and the coveted Woodbadge Beads.

Being concerned about youth this man has served as president of both the Jefferson Junior High and Cooper High School Band Booster Club.

He is a member of the board of directors of the Kiwanis Club and serves as chairman of Sponsored Youth Committee. He is Vice President of the Citizens National Bank.

This Scouter’s unsung support of the program of the Chisholm Trail Council and his great effort for youth gives cause for the National Court of Honor to present Maurice Hufstedler the Silver Beaver.
