Some people are doer’s of good things. In behalf of youth this woman is the "Queen" of those that do great and wonderful things for youth.

She has served and active roll in Girl Scouting for more than 25 years. She has been a Den Mother, Cub Trainer, Den Leader Coach, Member of District Committees, Pow Wow Staff leader, Cub Round Table Commissioner, Director of Cub Scout Day Camps, Troop Committeeman, Completed Cornerstone Training, First Aid Merit Badge Counselor, and Indian Lore Merit Badge Counselor. Being a military wife she has moved many times, but has always found time for Scouting within Penn., Florida, Mass., and Texas. The above are only a few of the contributions that she has made to Scouting.

In 1972 she was selected as TAC military wife of the year.

She has worked in Red Cross for over 15 years, Air Force Youth Activities Board Member for almost 10 years; active in Little League, "Miss Softball America" and on and on.

To a most outstanding, wonderful person the National Council, B. S. A. through the Chisholm Trail Council, with our most humble pride take pleasure in presenting to Pat Smith the Silver Fawn Award.
