Over a period of many years, this Scouter has been on the working end of many Scouting activities and events.

His Official positions with units has included serving as Troop Committeeman, Assistant Scoutmaster, Webelos Leader, Cubmaster, and Post Advisor. Other positions include Cub Day Camp Director, Pow-Wow Chairman, and District Explorer Program Chairman. He holds the Scouters Training Award, Scouters Key, and District Award of Merit. He has completed Woodbadge and has assisted with Timber Tag and Akela’s Kiva Training Courses. He is a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow.

He has served as a Little League Coach and is a member of the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.

It is with pleasure that the Chisholm Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America, presents the Silver Beaver Award to "Bob" Forkner.
