Good
Cub Scout packs take adult dedication, planning and training. Under the
direction of the pack committee chair or the Cubmaster, the pack trainer
helps leaders and parents understand the purposes, policies and
procedures of the Cub Scouting program.
The
pack trainer must meet BSA membership requirements, be at least 21 years
of age and be registered with the Boy Scouts of America as a pack
trainer.
It is recommended the Pack Trainer have at least one year of
experience in a leadership position in Cub Scouting, preferably as a Cub
Scout den leader, Webelos den leader, or Cubmaster. Contact your
committee chair or Cubmaster to sign up as pack trainer. Every Scout
deserves a trained leader.
