The Texas Trails Council maintains a Scout Shop at the Abilene Service Center for the convenience of Scouters and the parents of youth in the program.  They offer a complete selection of uniforms, badges and literature and some camping equipment.  If they do not have a particular BSA National Supply item that you need, they will be happy to order it for you.  The shop accepts credit cards, personal checks, money orders, and of course, cash but are unable to have a "charge account."  The shop does, however, maintain "Unit Accounts" whereas a unit may keep money on deposit for use in ordering badges, etc.  Ask for more details.

The Scout Shop maintains the same hours of operation as the office does.  Please see the Contacts page for hours of operation and telephone/fax numbers.

An Advancement Report is required when ordering badges of rank.

To order items from the BSA Catalog or Scoutstuff.org through the council, do the following:

NOTE:  Please see the Council's Merchandise Ordering Policy

  1. Download and print the catalog order form or the local council form.

  2. Find the items you want to order in either the BSA Catalog or the Scoutstuff website and enter the items on the order form.

  3. Complete all the rest of the information on the form and either mail or bring the form and your payment to the Abilene Scout Office.

  4. If paying by credit card you may fax in the order form.
