"This is Scouting" has been added to the BSA's on-line Learning Center and replaces New Leader Essentials as a required course for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing volunteers to earn the "Trained" leader emblem. Information about "This is Scouting" is at MyScouting.org.

Leaders can access many Adult Leader Trainings online, all you need is a MyScouting.org account.  It’s easy, it’s free and gives you access to an online community and endless resources to provide better program.

To become a member of the myscouting.org community, logon to www.myscouting.org. And click on “create a new account”. Once you’ve created an account you can access:

• E-Learning Training Courses
• Re-Chartering
• Internet Advancement
• Event Reservations for things such as Philmont Training Center
• Unit Visit Tracking
